Chase Collegiate Repeat as NEPSUL Champions

Chase celebrates their first NEPSUL championship, May 2013

Deerfield Academy was the site for the 2014 tournament and did a marvelous job with lush, fully-lined fields and spectacular weather. 11 teams representing 9 schools enjoyed competitive and spirited play.

Chase Collegiate (21-0 as of May 21) dominated the tournament, outscoring opponents in their first three games 39-6. In the finals they continued to roll, taking half against Hotchkiss 7-1, but Hotchkiss traded points after the break to make the final score 13-7. A game summary is available here.

Congratulations to Phillips Academy Andover, who repeated as the Spirit of the Game winners and to Marianapolis, who shared the DII title – the finals were Marianapolis vs Marianapolis JV!

How can NEPSUL help my team?

The NEPSUL is made up of over fifty independent day, boarding, and parochial schools that support ultimate frisbee; use this site to learn more about who they are and the sport of Ultimate in general.
On the NEPSUL website you will find a number of resources to help you build a team, or help an existing team become more competitive. Resources like Dan Cogan-Drew’s instructional videos (to the right) and the links to various skills and drills websites (see below) are particularly helpful.
A complete list of schools with Ultimate is available from the “Teams” section of the website. Find schools close to you and contact the coaches with questions, or to schedule games.
