 Hotchkiss Ultimate Goes Varsity!
Even though we can expect snow on the ground for months to come, February 3, 2004, will always be celebrated as one of the greatest days for Ultimate at Hotchkiss. On that day, Ultimate Frisbee became a co-ed varsity sport at the school!
In the letter announcing the decision, Athletic Director Rick DelPrete said, "I think that varsity status will be a nice reward for a very hard working, dedicated group of young people and coaches." Thanks, Rick! And thanks to all current and past players, families, and fans, who have given such terrific support to the team and the sport over the past four years. |
