NEPSUL Players Make National Teams

Five NEPSUL players helped the Junior National Open and Girls teams bring home Gold and Silver medals from the 2004 World Ultimate Championships in Finland. In addition, three NEPSUL alums played on the US Men's team at the World Beach Ultimate Championships, and brought home the gold.Jacob Goldstein and Bob Wang, both class of 2003 from Northfield Mount Hermon, and Misha Sidorsky, captain of NMH, were named to the open team. Jacob currently plays at Carleton College (where he was named UPA Rookie of the Year for the Central Division) and Bob is at U-Mass Amherst.
Rohre Titcomb and Nora Sluzas, both seniors at Hotchkiss, were named to the girls team. Both girls play on the Hotchkiss open team and on a girls combo team with Andover High School.

In August, three Hotchkiss alums played on the US Men's team at the World Beach Ultimate Championships in Portugal. Zahlen (who was named co-captain of the US team), Xtehn, and Vehro Titcomb all played at the University of Chicago, as well as for the Chicago Scandal with whom they have played at Paganello, a major beach ultiamte tournament held in Italy each spring.
